Professional Development Opportunities 2018

Our 2018 teachers Professional Development days will focus on new research applicable to the upcoming Biology, Earth and Environmental Science and Investigating Science Syllabus.  We are also excited about offering Depth studies activities.

November 1 & 2 focusses on new knoweldge across biology and how to teach and understand the process of science investigations.

These are unique opportunities to work with Museum and University Staff to develop resources for use in both Museum visits and classrooms across Australia.  Designed to enhance your classroom teaching and provide content specific knowledge and practical experience with some of the Universities cutting edge digital tools, our Internships provide up to 30 hours of NSWIT accredited PD. (standards: 1.2.4, 1.2.3, 3.2.2, 3.2.4)

Available during each school holiday session there will be different topics available depending upon your skills, interests and experience.  From creating webcasts and podcasts, web content, online tutorials through to constructing interactive sessions for our set of iPads.

In January we are looking to create some content for use on both our new iPad set and in schools through our website.
