Anatomy Museum

The UNSW Anatomy Museum provides a teaching and learning resource for all students of anatomy. Established in 1960, it is located on the first floor of the Wallace Wurth building. It contains a collection of over 250 bottled specimens and models, including dissected specimens and models of various human organs and body region. The Museum also houses a display of comparative anatomy, anthropology and embryology (developmental) material. These are supported by poster displays and catalogues, as well as a number of computers that provide access to anatomy teaching software.

The Anatomy museum is located in rooms 107-109 of the Wallace Wurth building. The embryology collection is housed across the corridor in room 108. The museum is open to all students enrolled in Anatomy courses and Medicine programs. Access to the Museum by other members of the University or the public is available by appointment only. No photography is permitted in the Museum.
