Seven wonders of the research world

Seven UNSW research achievements have been recognised in the list of finalists for the 2007 Eureka Prizes. This follows UNSW’s record-breaking success in last year’s awards.

UNSW's finalists are drawn from the fields of medical research, photovoltaics, quantum computing, nanotechnology, toxicology, oceanography, and climate and environmental science.

Praising the achievement, UNSW's Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research), Professor Les Field said: "I'm really pleased that once again so many prominent UNSW researchers have been recognised for these highly coveted prizes."
