Citation Classic
Recognition of outstanding papers by staff and students of SOMS was initiated in 2004 by the award of Citation Classic.
Criteria for selections:
- Paper which receives 50 or more citations over any consecutive 5 years
- Eligible papers should be submitted by the first or senior author
- Paper must be based on research undertaken in SOMS or in the Schools of Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology or Pathology prior to amalgamation and must indicate this in the affiliations
- The author must still be a member of SOMS (as staff or student)
- Reviews are not eligible
